SOMA, founded 2006, is a Licensed Training Organizations of Body-Mind Centering® programs and the research and diffusion of Somatic Movement Education.

SOMA, as a training authorized organization, is directed by a board of codirectors: Janet Amato and Lulla Chourlin, administrative directors. The administration is done by Julie Trouverie. 

The first certification training in France started in 2006 and was initiated and directed by Vera Orlock. Since then, SOMA has run several Somatic Movement Education, Infant Developmental Movement Education, and Practitioner Programs.

Our students come from dance, performing arts, physical and occupational therapy, and somatics. In IDME we have educators and therapist already working with babies and children.
